Privacy Policy
What we collect
- Your email address, so we can send your connection link and help you if something breaks.
- Payment details are handled by our payment providers, not us. Card payments go through Stripe, PayID through your own bank, and Bitcoin over the Lightning Network. We never see or store your full card number.
- Limited connection data. To run the VPN and to stop one subscription being shared across a whole group, the server keeps technical data such as the IP addresses your account connects from and how many connections are active. We do not keep a log of the websites you visit, and we do not sell your activity to anyone.
How we use it
Only to deliver the service: send your link, provide support, process refunds, and prevent abuse or account sharing. That's it.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of providers to run the service, and share only what each one needs:
- Stripe: card payment processing.
- Resend: sending your welcome and support emails.
- DigitalOcean: hosting the servers your connection runs through.
- Google Analytics: anonymous-ish usage stats about the website (not tied to your account).
We don't sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Cookies & analytics
We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit the site and how they move through it (pages viewed, rough region, device type, and whether someone started or finished checkout). It sets analytics cookies and sends that usage data to Google. We do not use advertising cookies and we don't sell your data. Your light/dark theme choice is also stored locally on your device. If you'd rather not be measured, use your browser's tracking protection or Google's opt-out add-on.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your account details while your subscription is active and for a short time afterwards, then remove them. You can ask us to show or delete your data at any time by emailing admin@ubghyper.xyz.
Age
HyperTunnel is meant to be bought and managed by an adult (18+). If you're under 18, an adult should make the payment and hold the account.
Changes
If we update this policy we'll change the date at the top. Big changes will be mentioned to active customers by email.
Terms of Service
What HyperTunnel is
A paid VPN subscription. You get a personal connection link that you load into a free app (like Hiddify) to route your internet through our servers in Australia.
Acceptable use
- Follow the rules where you are. You're responsible for complying with your school's, workplace's or network's acceptable-use policy, and with the law where you live. Using a VPN can breach a school's policy, and that's between you and your school, not something we can sort out for you.
- No illegal activity. Don't use HyperTunnel to break the law. Some harmful and adult content categories are filtered at the server.
- One person per subscription. Your link is tied to your account. Sharing it around may cause your account to be paused (see the connection-data note in the Privacy Policy above).
Payment & delivery
Prices are in Australian dollars. Pay by card and your link is emailed automatically. Pay by PayID or Bitcoin and we send it by hand, usually within a couple of hours. If it doesn't arrive, check your spam folder, then message us.
Refunds
If it's not working out, you can get a refund within 3 days of your purchase, just contact support. Manual and crypto payments are refunded the same way where possible. This sits alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which we don't try to exclude.
Uptime & blocks
We aim for high uptime but can't promise the service is never interrupted, or that a specific site or network will always work. If a school blocks one of our servers, message us and we'll rotate you to a fresh link, usually the same day. Your subscription keeps running.
No guarantees
The service is provided "as is." We don't guarantee that your traffic can never be detected, or that it will suit every situation. Use good judgement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using (or not being able to use) HyperTunnel, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us.
Suspension
We may pause or end an account that breaks these terms: sharing links, illegal use, or abusing chargebacks and refunds.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
